Improved Eucalyptus Genome

We are pleased to announce the public release of an improved Eucalyptus genome sequence. The new sequence data is available to the general scientific community to facilitate research to develop innovative transformation, genome editing, and trait technologies for improving eucalyptus.

The new high-quality, fully-phased genome has been uploaded to the NCBI, GenBank (BioProject – NCBI (nih.gov)).
The fully-phased genome and the annotation data file can be downloaded here.

The public release of this enhanced eucalyptus genome sequence is in line with our declared intent to share the value of our research, where data we produce can contribute to develop technologies for forest health and sustainably increase wood production to minimize extraction from natural forests in the face of hugely increasing demand for wood.
