FuturaGene has secured the results of functional genomics and biotechnology research that will have a decisive influence in shaping the next generation of innovative, safe and high value crops in important fields such as food, fiber and sustainable bioenergy. FuturaGene’s R&D is focused on taking its technologies through proof of concept in commercial crops. We have the capability to take specific crops to field trial ourselves, but we also work intensively in a highly interactive mode with leading university groups to demonstrate the potential of our traits and technologies. Recognizing 
regional differences in agricultural practice, crop types and varieties, where necessary we seek local research and business partners.
With our current portfolio of commercially viable and innovative technologies, FuturaGene is seeking to develop strategic relationships and alliances with leading organizations that will enable us to accelerate agricultural biotechnology to the marketplace.
