Mark A. Pritchard, Non-Executive Chairman
Following a 12 year career in investment banking in the City of London, working for financial institutions including, Interallianz Bank Zurich and Nomura International, Mr. Pritchard established a private investment firm, Lomond Consultancy Limited in 1992. Mr. Pritchard is currently Chairman of Allied Minds Inc., a private equity vehicle specializing in early stage technology investment which he founded in 2004. Mr. Pritchard has a BSc from Cass Business School in London.

Dr. Stanley Hirsch, Group Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining CBD, Dr. Hirsch was responsible for business development for a privately held group of healthcare companies, where he oversaw the structuring and managing of joint ventures, startup companies, technology licensing and new product acquisitions. Previously, he has also served as general manager of two diagnostics development companies. Dr. Hirsch has been involved in the development of automated systems for plant tissue culture and he is a co-inventor of patents in plant biotechnology and microprpagation systems. Dr. Hirsch received his D. Phil. from Oxford University in cell biology and immunology.

Peter A. Toynton, Non-Executive Director
Mr. Toynton was previously the Group Finance Director of Tempus Group, Plc. and a Non-Executive Chairman of Poulter Group, Ltd. and SBS Group, Plc. As well as a Non-Executive Director of Tempus Group, Plc. Currently, Mr. Toynton is a Director of Redfern Gallery, Ltd. and Heritage Galleries Ltd.

Dr. Michael E. Fromm, Non-Executive Director
Dr. Fromm is currently Director of the Center for Biotechnology and Professor of Agronomy at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to this, Dr. Fromm had a successful career in the biotechnology industry at Monsanto, Mendel Biotechnology and Panakos. In his seven years as director of biotechnology and plant genomics at Monsanto (1990-97), Dr. Fromm initiated the company's plant genomics program and headed the research team that developed genetically-modified "Roundup Ready" corn and "YieldGard" corn, the Bt corn resistant to corn borers.

Gaetan Waucquez, Non-Executive Director
Mr. Waucquez is the Chief Financial Officer and a management board member of Floridienne, a Belgian investment holding company quoted on the NYSE EuroNext exchange. Floridienne has three main divisions, Chemicals, Agro-food and Life Sciences.
